  1. YO! First to comment hahaha. Hmm I can’t decide which book I would like! There are so many :O Throne of Glass maybe! Cos book depository disappointed me the other time, and the plot sounded really good, not to mention the cover(; oh oh oh and I know this is extremely late, but I wanna start on Harry Potter too haha :D let’s hope next year will be less regretful for us! Happy New Year!(:

    • I had a hard time choosing 8 books to post up there too, there are like MOUNTAINS of books that I still want to read. Aww man, Throne of Glass is still unread at home D: If you don’t win this giveaway (touchwood!) then maybe I can lend it to you!

OMG YOU HAVEN’T READ HARRY POTTER? NOT EVEN A BOOK? A PAGE? A WORD?!?! That’s it. I’m not lending you T^T

Haha just kidding, good luck and happy new year! Counting down…

  2. I’ve managed to read 4 of the above and yes you NEED to have Code Name Verity, it’s amazing! Also Stormdancer <3 and My Life Next Door was lovely.
I have such a logn list of books I still need from 2011, hmm although the Jennifer Echols looks really good.

    • Awesome! I’ve always wanted to read these books, always been snooping around bookstores and libraries for them but… No much luck :/ Many have been giving Jennifer Echols the thumbs up, great pick and good luck and happy new year!

  3. yayyyyy! Me want Throne of Glass yayyyy ^^ THANKS WYYYY btw are you really gna buy someone a book o: SO GENEROUS AND KIND <3

    • AHAHA THRONE OF GLASS LOOKS SO BADASS. Wait, I thought someone liked Valek better? ;) Yeah duh, I’m being belated Santa, that’s the whole point of a giveaway :D Darling, this is a giveaway for 2012 release, no extra Vincents!! xD

  4. Hmmm… From 2012 releases I think I’d want to have Pushing the Limits, Unraveling, Sweet Evil or Something Strange and Deadly… Or something else? LOL, It’s really hard to decide! There are soooo many :<

    • IKR!! There are too many books “missing” from my 2012 collection, just picking one is… Impossible :P Depending on what you like, I’ll go with Unraveling since it’s got all the mystery and action and romance ;)

    • OH TRUST ME YES YOU SHOULD READ DIVERGENT. WHY NOT I GIVE YOU A COPY RIGHT NOW. AND YOU READ IT.

Ahaha kidding!! Divergent won’t be a 2012 release but hey, maybe we can get Insurgent and see what we can do to rectify this serious situation heh :p

  5. I would love to win Stormdancer because I’ve heard great things about it and it sounds really interesting.
    Thank you for the giveaway!
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :)

  6. Oooh. Code Name Verity is an amazing book. I’m following you on Twitter, Facebook and added you as a friend.
I think I’d like to win My Life Next Door because it’s not my usual type of book and I probably wouldn’t think about it otherwise, but it’s about family and friendship and it all sounds very happy and cute.

    • I know many who loved Stormdancer and ahh!! It’s not selling locally tooooo… Maybe I’ll order one for myself… Haha, anyway, good luck and thank you for participating :)

    • I’ve heard many gushing over Cinder, very curious about that one! GAAAH I must be insane to not have read My Life Next Door, especially since it topped my TBR list for months! Any way, thank you for participating and good luck!

  7. You absolutely must read My Life Next Door and Days of Blood and Starlight!! Those were two of my favorites of 2012 :)
I might choose Stormdancer or The Evolution of Mara Dyer. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

    • Every time I visit the bookstore/library, they’re not on stock D: I’m very new to Stormdancer and I can’t wait for Evolution of Mara Dyer to sit prettily on my shelf too :D Thanks for participating.

    • I have Throne of Glass with me but it’s been sitting there forlornly for so long it pains me to just look at it… Great choices though!! I have this sixth sense that I will love My Life Next Door and Pushing The Limits is too good to miss ;) Good luck!

  8. I LOVE all of those books. I couldn’t choose between My Life Next Door, Unraveling or Days of Blood and Starlight. Such GREAT choices, Alicia and an awesome giveaway! :D

  9. Hello! I just found your blog and I absolutely love it! I’ve been toying with the idea of starting my own and stumbled upon yours while looking for fellow YA lovers. Code Name Verity was definitely one of my favorite reads this year and Seraphina was spectacular as well. And I guess if I had to choose a book it would be My Life Next Door because it has been on my TBR list for a while now and I still haven’t gotten to it!

    • Thank you Amy, how sweet of you! You’ll HAVE to tell me when your blog goes up, and SQUEE!! Seraphina, Code Name Verity and My Life Next Door are much loved here, good luck :D

    • SPOT ON! Love Karou, Love Akiva, Love Brimstone, loving every single character in Daughter of Smoke and Bone (yes, even that slimy fallen angel) so… We shall see ;)

  10. I’ve been dying to read Execution by Alexander Gordon Smith. It’s part of one of my favorite series but I haven’t had the extra funds to buy it

  11. I’d like to win MY LIFE NEXT DOOR, I really want that book but it’s not available in our country. I love the cover and the premise sounds great. :)
Anyway, thanks for the chance to win! Your blog is amazing and I’m a follower ever since. :)

  12. Pingback: Sunday Post: January 13 | Book a World

    • Totally didn’t put why! Because I’ve heard so much about them and they have been on my TBR list for a while now. Plus I love the covers (I know, you should never judge a book by it’s cover… But they’re so pretty).

  13. SO hard to choose–and your picks are amazing!
I’d say it’s between The Diviners, Such a Rush and My Life Next Door because those were all some of my favorites from 2012 (though Unraveling is way up there too…and so many countless more! Gah, too many great books from last year!)

  14. Great picks! I’ve read only one among them – My Life Next Door – and adored it. Definitely one of my top reads last year. Like you I MUST have The Evolution and Code Name Verity!

  15. I want Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi or Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles) by Marissa Meyer. My oldest daughter and I have read the first books in both of these series and we’re ANXIOUS to get the next one!!
